Library and Coffee House Tours: An Introduction

Several years ago, I began a series called "Motherhood and Writing." My girls have since grown up and are in elementary school. Between then and now, I have gone through several transitions, such as holding day jobs while editing at night or in the very early mornings. Life has since come full circle, and I am back to where it all began - before my first daughter was born - working in coffee shops and local libraries whenever I can.

In Cobb County, Georgia, where I live, we have fantastic libraries and coffee shops. In this series, I will be working in some of these places and sharing my experiences with you. I'll discuss ambiance, atmosphere (is it welcoming, do they provide free wi-fi, etc.?), staff attitudes, and more. I hope those who work in and around Cobb County will find these submissions useful as they search for new places to go and relax or finish up their work-from-home projects.
